BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan intend to jointly build a grain storage facility for storing 100,000 tons of wheat in the Mary region in the south-east of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing the Business Turkmenistan news agency.

This was announced to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during an online working meeting by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Annageldi Yazmyradow, who oversees the agro-industrial complex.

The Deputy Chairman reported on the activities aimed at establishing cooperation on the shipment of wheat and flour from Kazakhstan to Afghanistan.

At the same time, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan intend to jointly build a workshop for the production of bags for grain and flour.

Turkmenistan invests heavily in the formation of modern industrial infrastructure, which contributes both to the comprehensive development of the regions and to the economic prosperity of the country as a whole.
