BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. "Turkmen ojagy" enterprise, located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan, has published indicators of textile production from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
During this period, the factory manufactured 153,100 meters of cotton insulation. Of this volume, 36,000 meters were exported to Kyrgyzstan.
The enterprise also produced 435.7 tons of cotton fiber from January through June 2022, of which 166 tons were exported to Turkiye.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
