BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 8. Production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Turkmenistan in 2022 will average 0.26 million barrels per day, Trend reports with reference to the September Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO) of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The report said that extraction in 1Q2022 and 2Q2022 amounted to 0.26 million barrels a day.
The EIA forecasts that oil production will stand at 0.26 million in 3Q2022 and 0.26 million in 4Q2022.
Furthermore, the EIA also noted that Turkmenistan’s oil extraction in 1Q2021, 2Q2021, 3Q2021, and 4Q2021 amounted to 0.25 million barrels per day.
The annual 2023 liquids production in Turkmenistan is also forecast to be at 0.27 million barrels a day, the report said.
