BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 4. At the moment, an agreement is being implemented on the supply of special machinery and vehicles to Turkmenistan by Japanese companies, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
This was stated by the Chairman of the upper house of Parliament of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting with representatives of the Japanese business community, which took place in Tokyo, Japan.
He noted that a general agreement is being implemented for the supply of Komatsu company earthmoving equipment to Turkmenistan in the amount of more than $470 million and Toyota company vehicles with a preliminary cost of $90 million.
Large investments are being made in the formation of modern transport infrastructure in Turkmenistan, which contributes both to the comprehensive development of the regions and to the economic prosperity of the country as a whole.
