BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Afghan entrepreneurs purchased diesel fuel during trading on January 20 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased 1,000 tons of diesel fuel on the exchange at a price of $1,006 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was over $1 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, on January 4, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 5,000 tons of liquefied gas on the Turkmen exchange for a total amount of $2.4 million.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
