BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 25. A business mission from the Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation will arrive in Turkmenistan in April, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, in the wake of the Turkmen-Russian business forum held recently in Ashgabat, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia decided to set an additional task. This task is to have a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of any region of Russia travel to Turkmenistan every two months and work with colleagues from the relevant sector.
About 40 entrepreneurs from the Lipetsk region of Russia will travel to Turkmenistan in April this year. These are representatives of such spheres as metallurgy, vegetable growing, food sales, production of household appliances, and car tires.
Following the results of the Turkmen-Russian business forum held in Ashgabat on January 19 through 20, both countries signed 20 bilateral documents totaling more than $2 billion.
