BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. Dubai (UAE) will host an international roadshow to attract foreign investment in the energy sector of Turkmenistan on April 26 through 27, 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the information, the purpose of the upcoming roadshow is to attract investment and strengthen regional partnerships for the further development of the energy sector.

The great attention of the upcoming event will be focused on attracting investments in the offshore blocks of Turkmenistan, the development of the next stage of the Galkynysh field, which has the second-largest gas reserves in the world.

The upcoming roadshow will be attended by leading national and international energy companies, as well as experts who are shaping the future of the oil and gas industry not only in Turkmenistan but also in the region as a whole.

The main organizers of the roadshow are the Türkmengaz and Turkmennebit state concerns, as well as the Turkmengeology State Corporation in partnership with the Turkmen-Forum economic society with the support of the British GaffneyCline consulting company.

Turkmenistan is a key figure in the Asian oil and gas market. Turkmenistan's hydrocarbon resources are estimated at more than 71 billion tons of oil equivalent, which amount to more than 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
