Kazakhstan's GDP significantly grew: Kazakh Premier

(Kazinform) - According to the current data, growth of gross domestic product (GDP) in Kazakhstan amounted to 9.3 per cent. Kazakh prime minister D. Akhmetov has announced about it at the sitting of the Government.

He noted that this index was much higher in comparison with 2005. For 7 months of the current year rate of industrial development has made up 5.9 per cent. Processing and mineral resource industry have stable tendency of growth. In agricultural sector increase of GDP equaled 4.2 per cent, reports Trend.

Volume of gross domestic product is being increased mostly due to such branches as construction, transport and communications, the Premier stated.
