Turkmenistan buys another batch of agricultural machinery from Case Corporation

(Turkmenistan.ru) - Turkmen President Saparmurat Niyazov and President of the U.S. Corporation "Case New Holland", Michael Edmondson, signed a contract on the purchase of another batch of agricultural machinery exceeding US $ 55 mln in Ashgabat.

As the Turkmen leader noted during the signing ceremony, Turkmenistan stakes on modern, highly productive equipment of the world leading companies in implementation of the large-scale programmes of social-economic development of Turkmenistan. Along with Case, Turkmenistan has established successful cooperation with such famous companies as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Boeing, Minsk car factory and others. Turkmenistan has just recently signed a contract for supply of 600 KAMAZ dump trucks to Turkmenistan, reports Trend.

According to the new contract, Turkmenistan will receive 220 tractors, 100 cotton pickers, 220 four-row two-sided plows, 100 disk-harrows and 100 planers.

"We regard your company as a partner that fully meets our concept of efficient partnership," Saparmurat Niyazov said after the contract signing ceremony. He stressed the exceptional importance of timely and uninterrupted supply of latest equipment for the rapidly developing agriculture of Turkmenistan.
