'The State Border Protection Committee of the National Security Service of Uzbekistan (SBPC NSS) has officially said that no unmanned, or manned aircraft of the Air Force, as well as other operational search and anti-aircraft means have been used on the Uzbek-Kazakh state border', the SBPC NSS press release says.

Earlier the Kazakh TV channel KTK reported with reference to informed sources that a drone had crossed the state border and headed far inland over Kazakh territory. According to KTK, the drone was in the Kazakh air space for about 15 minutes.

Official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said its border guards visually recorded violations of the country's airspace by drone. He said official information on this incident is being sent to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

'A Kazakh media report said the violation is unverified and untrue', SBPC NSS said in a press release.

'A report on the Today.kz website about the alleged violation of Kazakhstan's airspace by the Uzbek side is also not true', the press release says.
