The Uzbek government adopted a decree for the establishment of center for the introduction of e-learning in educational institutions.

The Uzbek government adopted a decree for the establishment of center for the introduction of e-learning in educational institutions.

According to the decree, the center will be established under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education in the form of a state institution.

The main objectives of the center are the administration and implementation of the management functions of a national network E-education, the realization of projects for teaching and research using information and communication technologies, including videoconferencing and distance learning methods at higher and secondary specialized and professional educational institutions.

The objectives of the center will also include providing access of higher and secondary special and professional educational institutions to information and educational resources of a national network E-education.

In addition, the center will develop single requirements for electronic methodical complexes and other educational resources that are created in higher and secondary special and professional educational institutions and are included in E-education network.

Special courses for teachers will be held in the learning process in order to improve the training and retraining of staffs of higher and secondary special and professional education on the use of ICT.

The objectives of the center will also include analyzing and monitoring of the effectiveness of the use of computer equipment in the educational process, development of recommendations to update the computer and communications resources in higher and secondary special and professional education institutions.
