Tariffs for central heating and hot water supply to the public and organizations in Tashkent will increase by nine percent from October 1, the Production Association (PA) Tashteploenergo and the state enterprise - trust Suvsoz said on Friday.

Tariffs for central heating and hot water supply to the public and organizations in Tashkent will increase by nine percent from October 1, the Production Association (PA) Tashteploenergo and the state enterprise - trust Suvsoz said on Friday.

In particular, the monthly tariff for central heating will increase from the current 535.95 sum per square meter of living space to 584.18 sum.

The tariff for hot water if there is counter will be 1871.99 sum per cubic meter (now - 1717.47 sums per cubic meter), in the absence of counter - 7310.58 sum per person per month compared to 6707.12 sum earlier.

For residents of dormitories with shared shower tariff will amount to 5438.37 soum per person per month, compared to the current 4989.45 sum.

The last time the price of hot water and heating increased in April this year - by 15.5 percent. Thus, tariffs for these kinds of utilities increased by 25.9 percent in Uzbekistan during six months.
