Uzbek President Islam Karimov has ratified two international agreements by his decrees, including the Uzbek-Singaporean intergovernmental agreement on mutual exemption of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports.
The agreement was signed in April in Tashkent, during a visit of the Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs of Singapore Masagos Zulkifli to Uzbekistan.
Islam Karimov also approved an agreement between the governments of member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on cooperation in the field of agriculture, signed in June 2010.
Uzbek President instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send appropriate notifications on implementation of domestic procedures necessary for the entry into force of the international agreements.
