Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi will arrive in Uzbekistan today on an official visit, the press service of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
"The discussion of current issues of Uzbek-Chinese relations and exchange of opinions on international and regional problems is expected to be carried out in Tashkent during the negotiations," the report said.
As it was previously reported, the official visit of Foreign Minister of China to Uzbekistan by invitation of his Uzbek counterpart Abdulaziz Komilov was scheduled after the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Foreign Ministers. The meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers was held on July 13.
According to Uzbekistan's State Committee on Statistics, the Uzbek-Chinese bilateral commodity circulation grew by 19.7 percent in 2012- up to $3.233 billion.
There are 411 enterprises with Chinese capital in Uzbekistan.
