On July 25, the Commander of the US Central Command, General Lloyd J. Austin III discussed Uzbek-American relations, as well as earlier reached bilateral agreements with Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday.
"The parties paid special attention to international and regional problems, mainly the development of the situation in Afghanistan," the report said.
The US ambassador to Uzbekistan George Krol also attended the meeting.
