Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received copies of the credentials of Palestine's new Ambassador Mohammad Abdullah Tarshahani, a report of the press service of Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting the sides discussed the state and prospects of Uzbek-Palestinian relations and exchanged views on specific issues of international and regional issues including the situation in the Middle East.
It was earlier reported that the previous head of the Palestinian diplomatic mission Assad Munem al-Assad completed his mission in late July 2013.
