The newly appointed First Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Diler Hakimov was presented to the Board of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry on Tuesday in Uzbekistan, the press-service of the republic's Foreign Ministry said.
Earlier, Hakimov served as the Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the UN in New York.
He was appointed to the post of the Permanent Representative to the UN in March this year.
Prior to this appointment, Hakimov was head of the Department for the USA and Americas at the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan.
