PRC State Council Premier starts official visit to Uzbekistan

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrives in Uzbekistan on Nov.28 for an official visit, the Uzbek government press service said.
According to the press service, the visit program includes a meeting with Uzbek President Islam Karimov.
Li Keqiang will also hold talks with the Uzbek government, which are expected to result in signing a package of bilateral documents aimed at further development of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in various fields.
During his visit to Uzbekistan, PRC State Council Premier will attend the twelfth meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of SCO Member States to be held in Tashkent on November 29.
According to statistics, in 2012 the Uzbek-Chinese trade turnover amounted to approximately $ 3.4 billion, there are about 500 enterprises with Chinese capital operating in Uzbekistan.
