Uzbekistan Airways NAC will implement regular Tashkent-Singapore flights, the press-service of the company reported on April 3.

Flights will be operated with Boeing-767 aircrafts on Wednesdays (via Kuala Lumpur) and Thursdays.

National airline (NAC) "Uzbekistan Airways" - the monopoly carrier in Uzbekistan - carries out flights to 21 cities in Europe, America, Middle East, Asia, in 22 cities of CIS countries and 11 internal destinations.

In 2013, the NAC "Uzbekistan Airways" fulfilled about 24,600 of flights and transported 2.677 million passengers (an increase compared with 2012 by 1.6 percent).
Volume of freight transportations (including baggage transportation) last year totalled 41,000 tonnes against 40,000 tonnes a year earlier.

Uzbekistan Airways is the monopoly carrier in Uzbekistan and is wholly owned by the state.Its fleet currently consists of 31 aircraft of western production, including 13 Boeings (four 767-300, five 757-200 and four 767- 300-ER), 13 Airbuses (three A-310 and 10 - A-320- 200), three medium-range RJ- 85 planes and two Airbus A300-600F cargo planes.
