Uzbekistan signs contracts for $130 M in Germany

Uzbekistan signed contracts and agreements for export of horticultural and textile products to European countries totaling more than $130 million within the framework of the agricultural fair Green Week 2015 held in Berlin, Germany, said the press service of the ministry of foreign economic relations, investments and trade of Uzbekistan.
It is reported that the Uzbek delegation at the fair was led by Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Elyor Ganiev. The country was represented by the Food Industry Association of Uzbekistan, the Uzvinprom-Holding Company, a number of the foreign trade companies and representatives of the Council of farmers and farms, the press service said.
The largest annual international agricultural fair Green Week, which is the largest platform for demonstration of the achievements of agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and food production, was held in the German capital January 15-25, said the press service. It is reported that in 2015 it was attended by more than 1, 600 companies and farms from 70 countries.
