Uzbek and Finnish officials discussed the issues of strengthening and development of the Uzbekistan-Finland cooperation during the next round of consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries, held Oct. 25-26 in Helsinki.
During the visit, Uzbekistan’s delegation held negotiations with Deputy Chairman of the Finnish parliament’s (Eduskunta) friendship group with Central Asian countries Eero Heinaluoma and Finland’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan with a residence in Helsinki Niklas Lindqvist, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry’s press service said Oct. 27.
The Uzbek delegation became familiar with activities of the Association of Finnish Travel Agents (AFTA) and presented promising areas of cooperation to heads of leading tour operators.
