Uztransgaz joint stock company obtained net income, calculated according to the national accounting standards in the amount of 1.539 trillion soums (official exchange rate on Jan. 17 is 3251.06 soums/$ 1) in 2016 compared to 2.533 trillion soums in 2015, said the company’s report published on http://openinfo.uz/en/ , a single portal of corporate information of Uzbekistan.
Uztransgaz is a subsidiary of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company.
The company’s net income decreased by 39.25 percent in 2016 compared to 2015.
The report said that the net proceeds from the sale of products stood at 6.493 trillion soums (8.9 percent decrease), the gross profit from the sale of products totaled 3.270 trillion soums (25.4 percent decrease), profit from the main activity – 3.377 trillion soums (6.28 percent decrease).
The prime cost of the sold products reached up to 3.222 trillion soums (17.6 percent increase).
Accounts receivable for the reporting period increased by 13.43 percent up to 14.483 trillion soums.
Uztransgaz supervises the transportation, shipping, transit and export of gas in Uzbekistan.
Currently, the total length of gas pipelines in Uzbekistan is 13,600 kilometers.
