Assets of Uzbek bank of rural construction up

Uzbekistan’s JSCB Qishloq Qurilish Bank (Bank for Rural Construction), which is one of Uzbekistan’s ten big banks, increased its assets, calculated in line with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), by 26.7 percent – up to 5.295 trillion soums in 2016, as compared to the final results of 2015, according to the bank’s audited balance sheet.

Meanwhile, the bank’s credit investments increased by 29.8 percent – up to 4.632 trillion soums during the period.

The bank’s liabilities rose by 28.2 percent – up to 4.862 trillion soums in 2016.

The owned capital of the bank rose by 12.6 percent and amounted to 433.597 billion soums in late 2016, taking into account the authorized capital in the amount of 396.468 billion soums.

In 2016, the bank obtained a net profit in the amount of 24.507 billion soums, as compared to 24.078 billion soums in 2015 (growth by 1.8 percent).

The JSCB Qishloq Qurilish Bank was created in March 2009.
