The Senate of the Uzbek Parliament will hold the tenth plenary session on May 27, said the Senate’s information service.
A number of laws including “On amendments to separate articles of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, “About the Constitutional court of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, etc. are on the agenda of the meeting.
Senators will also consider laws on ratification of a number of international agreements and conventions, including the agreement on strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, signed in Ashgabat on March 6.
During the plenary session, Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov is expected to deliver a report on the work done by the Foreign Ministry to develop foreign economic relations and attract foreign investments, as well as on the prospects in this area.
