Uzbek-Russian joint venture, Natural Gas-Stream LLC, has announced a tender to select a general contractor for the construction of 254 gas and 168 oil production wells and development of oil fields of Ozneftgazqazibchiqarish JSC, a representative of Natural Gas-Stream LLC told Trend.
Ozneftgazqazibchiqarish JSC is a unit of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company.
The tender is being conducted by order of Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company, and the Natural Gas-Stream LLC is the organizer of the tender.
Under the terms of the tender, the winner will build oil and gas production wells and develop fields on a turnkey basis.
The deadline for submitting the bids is October 12.
The tender is held as part of a five-year program to increase hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan.
It was earlier reported that the program to increase hydrocarbon production in 2017-2021 was approved by a special resolution of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in March 2017.
The total increase in natural gas production will be 53.5 billion cubic meters, gas condensate – 1.1 million tons, oil – 1.9 million tons in Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.
The volume of investments for the program’s implementation will total $3.9 billion.
