The Uzbek State Committee for Investments hosted a meeting with Wang Yutao, chairman of China’s Suzhou Weiji company, UzDaily news website reported.
During the talks, the sides discussed issues of implementation of an investment project to organize manufacture of porcelain products in Uzbekistan, according to the press service of the committee.
The project’s implementation is envisaged by the plan of measures on execution of the agreements reached during the visit of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to China in May.
At the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a complex for the manufacture of porcelain products with the use of local raw materials, as well as establish a specialized research center in Tashkent.
An agreement was reached to establish a joint working group for the preparation and implementation of the project.
