Uzbekistan has fundamentally changed the attitude towards its citizens, working and getting education in other countries legally, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the event dedicated to the country’s Constitution Day.

The president added that today our compatriots are dealing with science, as well as information and communication technologies abroad. Uzbek citizens also work in banks.

"The Uzbek government will protect the rights and interests of the country’s citizens,” the president said.

The president added that the first steps in this direction have already been taken. An agreement on labor migration has been reached with Russia.

Uzbekistan’s special delegations travel abroad and meet with compatriots. The necessary measures are taken to improve the working and living conditions of Uzbek citizens.

"All conditions are being created to render consular and other services to our compatriots abroad," the president stressed.
