Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Dec. 14

By Diana Aliyeva – Trend:

Public services will now be provided on a "single window" principle not only to business entities, but all citizens of Uzbekistan in the people’s reception offices of the country’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

This is envisaged in the presidential decree “On measures for radical reforming of the national system of rendering public services to the population” and provision on the organization of activity of the State Services Agency under the Uzbek Ministry of Justice signed Dec. 13.

Centers of public services will start operating under the people’s reception offices on January 1, 2018.

Excessive procedures will be excluded and Uzbek state bodies will independently receive necessary documents and information from other structures.

Databases of state bodies and other organizations of Uzbekistan will be integrated into a single system of interdepartmental electronic interaction. It is also envisaged that the practice of rendering state services through the Single Portal for Interactive Public Services of Uzbekistan will be expanded.

The State Services Agency, which is being organized under the Uzbek Ministry of Justice, will be responsible for the implementation of state policy in this sphere.

It is planned to create a single register of public services and introduce about 60 types of public services within three years.
