Sahid Hotels & Resorts of Indonesia plans to build several hotels in Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reported.
Employees of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan held a number of meetings with representatives of the company in Jakarta.
During the negotiations, the parties agreed that Sahid Hotels & Resorts will build hotels in the Bukhara and Samarkand cities of Uzbekistan.
The foreign investor also plans to build a 100-200 room hotel complex in front of the mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari in Samarkand.
Sahid Tour Haji & Umrah, which is a part of Sahid Hotels & Resorts, is interested in the development of sightseeing tourism in Uzbekistan.
The company plans to create a special tour package that will include visits to the mausoleum of Imam al-Bukhari and the Memorial Complex of Naqshbandi.
