Uzbekistan has declassifies the information on mineral reserves and resources, their production, sales and distribution of funds from their sales, Trend reports citing a government decree.
Furthermore, restrictions on official publication have been removed from the financial statements of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan, Almalyk MMC and Navoi MMC.
Official information on the total volume of state and government guaranteed loans (local and foreign), their sources, currency, interest rates, maturities are available now.
Until recently, Uzbekistan did not disclose official data on the gold, silver and other non-ferrous and rare-earth metals in the country.
The State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources notes that 63 gold deposits were discovered in the country by the end of 2011, but later the information was not disclosed.
