The Fund for Economic Development and Cooperation of South Korea (EDCF) and Uzbekistan signed loan agreements in amount of $238 million, Trend reports referring to the Uzbek Ministry of Investment and Trade.
The funds will be directed to the implementation of two projects, first one is "Equipping medical institutions in Uzbekistan" which amounted to $88.8 million, and the other one is "Construction of an oncology hospital" which amounted to $150 million.
The program of cooperation between Uzbekistan and EDCF for 2021-2023 will include 13 projects with a total value of $1.2 billion. The parties agreed to establish close cooperation on the accelerated promotion and practical implementation of these projects.
