The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan will carry out systematic work to further improve gas supply to consumers in 2022,Trend reports citing the press service of the ministry.
In particular, 370 km of gas networks and 1,008 gas distribution points will be modernized and reconstructed.
In addition, 5,289 liquefied gas cylinders will be delivered, which is an increase of 31.1 percent compared to 2021.
In 2021, 296 km of gas networks and 855 gas distribution points were modernized and reconstructed. In addition, 3,650 liquefied gas cylinders were supplied to consumers.
Furthermore, Uzbekistan plans to create a unified energy system through the construction of networks with a capacity of 500-750 kilowatts. It is planned to increase the total generating capacity to 27,400 megawatts and annual output to 110 billion kilowatt-hours by 2026.
