The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $3.5 billion in January 2022, which is an increase of 49.8 percent compared to the same period last year ($2.3 billion),Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, the share of the CIS countries in the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January 2022 amounted to $1.1 billion, which is an increase of 20 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 ($944.6 million).
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan with other countries in the specified period amounted to 2.3 billion, which is an increase of 70.1 percent compared to January 2021 ($1.3 billion).
In January 2022, exports of goods and services from Uzbekistan amounted to $1.4 billion, while imports amounted to $2.1 billion.
The largest trading partners of Uzbekistan in this period were China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and the Republic of Korea.
