The volume of retail trade turnover in Uzbekistan in January, 2022 amounted to 18.4 trillion soums ($1.6 billion), which is an increase of 15.8 percent compared to the same period of 2021,Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, the retail trade turnover per capita amounted to 527,800 soums ($48.49).
In January 2022, the retail trade turnover of large enterprises of the country amounted to 4.3 trillion soums ($397.8 million), while the retail trade turnover of small businesses - 12.3 trillion soums ($1.1 billion).
In the structure of the country's retail trade turnover, a significant share fell on Tashkent city, amounting to 25 percent, or 4.6 trillion soums ($422.6 million).
The smallest share at the level of 1.6 percent, or 296.9 billion soums ($27.2 million) fell on the Syrdarya region.
