Uzbekistan and China intend to further expand bilateral industrial and trade, and economic relations,Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
In this regard, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing (China), together with the Uzbek-Chinese Trade Association, organized a round table.
During the event, which was attended by leaders of large industrial enterprises such as "China CAMCE Engineering", "TBEA", "China Energy International Construction", "China Civil Engineering Construction" and "China Huadian Corporation", views were exchanged on ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and their results, the prospects for industrial and trade and economic ties between the two countries.
New projects were presented that can be jointly implemented in the pharmaceutical, textile, agricultural, chemical and leather industries of Uzbekistan, and special business proposals from the Chinese side were received.
At the end of the round table, large Chinese companies reported that the submitted investment projects would be considered as soon as possible and additional negotiations would be held with the Uzbek side.
