Uzbekistan exported 3,300 tons of knitwear to 14 foreign countries in the amount of $18.8 million in January 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of exports of knitwear increased by $2.1 million compared to the corresponding period last year.
The biggest amount of knitwear was exported from the country’s Tashkent city, which amounted to $9.3 million, followed by the Tashkent region ($3.2 million). Andijan region is in third place ($1.9 million), Bukhara region comes next ($1.2 million).
