BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 19. Uzbekistan and Russia agreed to expand the supply of building materials to the Russian market,Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
Negotiations on this issue were held in Moscow by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Irek Faizullin and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Russia Botirjon Asadov.
According to the Russian minister, joint work of the countries will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of productions, the formation of a guaranteed long-term market for building materials and equipment, as well as conducting scientific research in the development of new samples and technologies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of personnel interaction within the framework of a pilot project to attract specialists from Uzbekistan to Russian construction sites.
