BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. The volume of exports of Uzbekistan amounted to $8.4 billion from January through May 2022, which is an increase of 45.5 percent compared to the same period last year ($5.7 billion), Trend reports referring to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, exports of Uzbekistan to the CIS countries amounted to $2.4 billion, and to other countries, it amounted to $6 billion.
Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through May 2022 increased by 37.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021 ($14.9 billion), reaching $20.5 billion.
