BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. Since the beginning of 2022, 37,548 cubic meters of timber was exported to Uzbekistan from the Perm Krai of Russia, Trend reports via Russian Rosselkhoznadzor Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
For the most part, sawn softwood and hardwood – 33,493 cubic meters, as well as birch round timber – 4,055 cubic meters were exported.
In accordance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country, all wood products have previously undergone phytosanitary disinfection.
Each exported batch met the phytosanitary requirements of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 818 phytosanitary certificates were issued for timber products.
