BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. The value of services provided to the population of Uzbekistan from January through August 2022 worth 221.6 trillion soums ($20 billion), which is an increase of 26.6 percent compared to the same period last year (154.6 trillion soums or $14.3 billion), Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The value of communication and information services in this period amounted to 14.3 trillion soums ($1.3 billion), transport services – 48.5 trillion soums ($4.4 billion), trade services – 55.5 trillion soums ($5 billion), financial services – 51.6 trillion soums ($4.6 billion).
From January through August 2022, the largest volume of services was provided to residents of Tashkent city, the smallest volume was provided to residents of the Syrdarya region.
During this period, the volume of services provided per capita amounted to 6.2 million soums ($564.5).
