BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The value of Uzbekistan's agricultural production amounted to 240.2 trillion soums ($21.4 billion) from January through September, 2022,Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
During this period, crop products in value terms amounted to 121.7 trillion soums ($10.8 billion), and livestock products – 118.5 trillion soums ($10.6 billion).
From January through September, 2022, the largest volume of agricultural production was noted in the Samarkand region (29 trillion soums or $2.6 billion), and the smallest - in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (7.8 trillion soums or $700.8 million).
Agricultural production in Uzbekistan in value terms amounted to 302.5 trillion soums ($27.9 billion) in 2021, which is an increase of 20.8 percent compared to 2020 (250.2 trillion soums or $23.1 billion).
