BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 10. According to the decree of the president of Uzbekistan export of fruits and vegetables will be simplified for individual entrepreneurs,Trend reports via Uzbek media outlets.
According to the document, from November 10, individual entrepreneurs will be entitled to export fruits and vegetables without prepayment, letters of credit or bank guarantees.
In addition, the requirement to insure the export contract against political and commercial risks is canceled for them.
In early September, the president announced easier access to finance for farmers. In particular, farmers should be provided with unsecured loans in the amount of up to 150 million soums ($13,404) for seeds, fertilizers, fuels and lubricants, plant protection products and working capital for growing vegetables, legumes and oilseeds.
