BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. Uzbekistan imported 112,300 tons of bananas from January through October 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The volume of imports of bananas increased by 53,200 tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.
During this period, most of the bananas were imported from Ecuador in the amount of 111,400 tons, followed by Kazakhstan (426 tons), Turkiye (197 tons), India (144 tons) and Kyrgyzstan (99 tons).
Uzbekistan imported 104,400 tons of bananas from January through September 2022.
