BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. Uzbekistan has exported 245,200 tons of grapes worth $216.6 million to 51 countries from January through October 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
The export of grapes increased by 41,600 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, most of the grapes were exported to Russia in the amount of 140,000 tons, followed by Kazakhstan (48,800 tons), Kyrgyzstan (16,700 tons), China (7,300 tons), and Turkiye (5,900 tons).
According to forecasts, 1.8 million tons of grapes are expected to be harvested in Uzbekistan this year, which is 122,000 tons more than last year.
