BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 2. German YTONG, high-tech building materials producer, has opened a plant for the production of energy-efficient blocks in Uzbekistan's Kibrai district of the Tashkent region, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
The total area of the enterprise is 70,000 sq.m, 10,000 sq.m of which is allocated for production. The capacity of the plant is 450,000 m3.
According to the company, up to 150 people will be employed at the plant.
"Today, together with our partners, we are putting into operation the YTONG plant according to the German standards in Uzbekistan. The products that have proven themselves all over the world will be produced locally and available throughout the country, guaranteeing constant reliability and high performance of the products," Director of the plant, Ayubkhon Nuritdinov, said.
