BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. Valley Road Capital S.A. investment company of Switzerland signed an agreement worth 27.2 billion soums ($2.42 million) on the purchase of 100 percent of the state share of Uzbekistan’s Humo Air LLC (air carrier), Trend reports citing Uzbekistan’s State Asset Management Agency.
Following the agreement, the Swiss company plans to develop an air fleet and increase number of domestic flights during 2023-2026. Furthermore, Valley Road Capital S.A. should purchase 18 aircraft by 2026, including 3 aircraft by the end of the second quarter of 2023, with launching flights in the first half of 2023.
As for domestic flights, their number is expected increase to 16 weekly in the initial phase and then to 60, over the next five years.
Humo Air LLC was established based on the property of the SUE "Airline of Special Air Operations " in 2020. The authorized capital of Humo Air LLC includes 43 An-2 airplanes, aircraft engines, flight simulators, and other property.
