TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 6. The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Shokhrukh Gulamov and Masaki Ishikawa, Deputy Director General of the Bureau of European Affairs, Special Representative for Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Trend reports, citing the ministry.
During the meeting, the sides considered the current state and
priority directions of further development of trade-economic and
investment relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.
The sides discussed prospects of cooperation in infrastructure
construction, education and other spheres.
Following the meeting, the sides confirmed mutual commitment to
further expansion of cooperation and activation of measures on
accelerated implementation of the discussed projects and
initiatives.
