Quake jolts south-eastern city
( IRNA ) - An earthquake measuring 3.7 degrees on Richter scale jolted the vicinity of Ghale' Ganje in Kerman province on Sunday.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to the Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 17:10 hours local time ( 12:40 GMT) and its epicenter was located at 27.42 degrees north latitude and 58.11 degrees east longitude.
There was no immediate report on possible damage.
Iran is often hit by quakes of varying magnitudes as it sits on some of the world's most active seismic fault lines.
