( dpa ) - A meeting between Iran's nuclear chief and the head of the United Nations nuclear watchdog has been postponed until further notice, official news agency IRNA reported Monday.

Iran's Vice President and head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation, Gholamreza Aghazadeh, was supposed to meet with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) director, Mohamed ElBaradei, in Vienna on Monday.

A more suitable date would be sought for the meeting, IRNA quoted Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation public relations office as saying.

Aqazadeh is scheduled to inform ElBaradei on the installation of 6,000 new centrifuges last Tuesday, the operation of three new cascades of each 164 centrifuges at the Natanz plant in central Iran and future nuclear projects.
