The Iranian parliamentary delegation visited Ethiopia to attend Inter-Parliamentary Union's (IPU) 120th meeting, the IRNA news agency reported.
The IPU meeting took place in Ethiopia's capital - Addis Ababa on April 5-10. The meeting will focus on global political, economic and social issues, parliaments' role in ensuring peace, as well as development and democracy during the crisis. Parliamentary delegations of 125 countries will participate in the meeting.
The IPU is a non-government organization. Some 147 countries joined the organization. The union's central office is in Geneva.
